I developed a free service which allows users to easily create a Google Desktop gadget from any RSS/ATOM feed. The service is available at [www.desktop-gadgets.net] and provides a very easy wizard. All you have to do is provide the URL to the feed, then choose the design/colors of your gadget and you are all set.

The possible logo images and colors are all extracted from the webpage you are creating the gadget for. If they name their logo something like mypage_logo.jpg it will even be automatically chosen.

The finished gadget can be downloaded and installed into Google Desktop and shared with others.
