How do I set up the widget's parameters?
If an online platform (Flash, DHTML or Java) is present among the widget platforms, an additional link called 'Parameters' is shown next to the 'Edit' link. Using the 'Parameters' link, the widget's author can define the widget's parameters.
There are two default parameters -- width and height -- that the author cannot delete, and any number of custom parameters that the author can add and set up. When adding or editing a parameter, the author can set up its name (as it will be sent to the widget), its display name (the text that the users will see when customizing the parameter), an additional -- and optional -- description for more clarity, the parameter style (color, text, dropdown, checkbox, textarea, hidden) and the parameter type. The author can also specify the default values for all parameters.
