 NHL Standings web widget
I would love to learn how to create it myself, or at least learn how to grab the standings from ESPN (or any other site) and apply them somehow, but I think it's a little beyond my comprehension.
Instead, I throw myself on the mercy of this forum. I'd like a NHL Standings widget to put on my blog. Wins, Losses, Overtime/Shootout Losses, Points for, Points against. That would be just fine. Thanks to anyone who takes on this task.

Re: NHL Standings web widget
First you'll need some way to fetch the data. XML is the standard but other formats will work fine. You need either a server to pull the data from or a file that you'll update yourself and post on a public server. Then you need to write a Flash widget to render the contents. You may need a designer to draw your widget and a coder to make it work.
