messageNeed a widget developer (paid job)
Hello,

I run a video game website to which people can subscribe to play small online games like tetris, breakout games, etc. We record all the scores in our database and there is a top 20 of the best players.

We would like to make a small widget that would pull the data off our severs and display it in real time on the user desktop. Our users can type in their name and password and they will see the list of games they are registered too. When they click on one of the games, they'll get the top scores. On the bottom of the widget, we would also like a list of "suggested games" based on the games the user played. This data would be pulled from the server too.

How easy would it be to implement such a widget? It needs to be a desktop widget so we are thinking it could be done using Yahoo Widgets but we are open to suggestions. How much do you usually charge?

Thanks,

Eric

We develop widgets on popular and leading platforms (desktop, web, Facebook, i.e.) and leverage the Clearspring API to enable sharing, tracking and other key functionality. We are based in Silicon Valley with a presence on the East Coast/South East.

We have developed a widget platform that might be a good fit. There are some pros and cons to using a private platform vs public - depending on your specific current and future needs we can help determine what would be a good fit and how much it might cost.

Feel free to email me with questions.
