messagestandalone widgets apps
I've downloaded a couple of standalone widgets and that's the way I found out about Stardock: DesktopX, but the other day I heard about Zinc v2.5 and seems to be more powerful.
I think I will give a try to Zinc as I am a Flash Developer and seems to be compatible with flash but before I would like to hear your advice.

How about you guys, which application do you use to create standalone widgets?
I don't know how yahoo widgets work but I guess is similar to google widgets that you have to download a whole environment... and might be anoying for some people - end users.

salut

I don't have any personal experience with Zinc, excepting that saw a standalone widget developed with it - it looked great but seemed kind of slow on the laptop and largely sized. I know more folks that are using Desktop X for standalone widgets but didn't use that one myself either - but from what I know the widgets have good performance. If you can, you should probably give Zinc a try and see if it works for you.
