The Global Earthquake Monitor widget uses GeoRss data supplied by U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program to display the most recent earthquakes greater than magnitude 2.5, along with the time and date of the quake.
Features:
- Live data from the BBC, updated regularly, many different regional feeds to choose from!
- View events as a scrolling ticker for casual updates, or as a list for easier browsing

- Different events have different symbols for easy identification, these symbols are also shown on the map
